european economics at SEMICON Europa 2026
european economics will take part in SEMICON Europa 2026, Europe’s leading event for the microelectronics industry, organised by SEMI and held at Messe München in Munich from 10 to 13 November 2026. The 2026 edition is once again co-located with electronica, bringing together the entire electronics and semiconductor value chain in a single venue.
Under the theme “Europe’s Next Era: Navigating the Perfect Storm”, this edition examines the increasingly close relationship between technological innovation and the shifting geopolitical landscape. The programme explores how Europe can build a unified, competitive and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem within a fragmented global environment, strengthening its technological sovereignty and long-term economic stability. Highlights include the CxO Summit, the ITF Chip into the Future programme led by imec, the Executive Forum sessions on smart mobility, power electronics and advanced packaging, and the TechARENA programmes dedicated to the Chips Act 2.0, smart manufacturing and future disruptions, among others.
As a Gold Sponsor of the event for the second year running, european economics will be present both on its stand and through two presentations.
Our presentations
Marc ISABELLE
🗓 CxO Summit – Tuesday 10 November, 12:00
Our CEO and Founder will speak at the CxO Summit, which brings together the industry’s senior leaders, to share his reading of the macroeconomic and strategic context in which the European semiconductor industry operates: the end of the current technological cycle, emerging dependencies and Europe’s industrial responses.
Narjiss HADDAOUI
🗓 Future Disruptions session (TechARENA) – Thursday 12 November, 15:45
Our Managing Director and Partner will present the public funding opportunities available to the semiconductor industry in Europe. Grants target R&D, the first industrial deployment of breakthrough innovations and first-of-a-kind manufacturing facilities, drawing in particular on IPCEIs and the European Chips Act. Securing State aid and EU funding remains a highly competitive process, requiring a thorough understanding of the instruments, procedures and regulations involved. Based on several concrete use cases, this presentation will offer a first dive into the levers available to players across the industry.
Visit us on our stand
Throughout the event, our team will welcome you on stand C1904, Hall C1, to discuss your projects and the public support schemes suited to each stage of their development.
At the heart of funding strategic projects in Europe
european economics is a consultancy specialising in public funding for strategic industrial projects in Europe. Since 2018, the firm has supported 151 projects across 14 IPCEIs in 13 Member States, helping to secure €16 billion in State aid approved by the European Commission.
Our participation in SEMICON Europa 2026 comes at a time when public instruments dedicated to semiconductors are being strengthened, driven by the European Chips Act and the IPCEI on Microelectronics. This momentum continues with the proposed Chips Act 2.0, presented by the European Commission on 3 June 2026 and currently under examination.
