european economics at the ISIG Executive Summit EU 2026
european economics will take part in the ISIG Executive Summit EU 2026 (ISES EU 2026), organised by the International Semiconductor Industry Group (ISIG), to be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 14 to 16 September 2026.
Held under the theme ‘Chips, Power & Machines: Powering AI and Electrifying Industry’, the summit brings together industry leaders, experts and investors from across Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem. Its programme covers the priorities shaping the sector: the future of semiconductors in Europe, power electronics for electric mobility (800V architectures, silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN)), edge intelligence for robotics and autonomous systems, the intelligent fab, as well as market outlook and funding opportunities.
The summit opens on 14 September with a visit to the Hitachi Energy semiconductor plant in Prague, followed by two days of conference sessions and business meetings at the Czernin Palace, seat of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Our session
Marc ISABELLE
🗓 15 September – 14:40
Unlocking public funding for strategic semiconductor projects
Our CEO and Founder will provide a practical first look at public funding opportunities for the semiconductor industry in Europe. Drawing on several concrete cases, his session will set out the main levers available, from R&D support to the first industrial deployment of breakthrough innovations and first-of-a-kind production facilities, in an environment where securing State aid and European funding remains highly competitive and calls for a sound command of the relevant schemes, processes and regulations.
At the heart of strategic project funding in Europe
european economics is a consultancy specialising in the public funding of strategic industrial projects in Europe. Since 2018, the firm has supported 148 projects across 11 IPCEIs in 13 Member States, helping to secure €16 billion in State aid approved by the European Commission.
Our participation in the ISIG Executive Summit EU 2026 comes amid a strengthening of public instruments dedicated to semiconductors, led by the European Chips Act and the IPCEI on Microelectronics. This momentum continues with the proposed Chips Act 2.0, presented by the European Commission on 3 June 2026 and currently under review.
